The Moment it Feels Real ft. Boho Cheeks
Is there a moment during pregnancy that makes your future feel more real than installing your little one's car seat into your car? It truly makes the last three trimesters feel worth every little ache and pain as you remind yourself.. it really is almost over. At any point in time this little human can come into your world and they will remain here forever. They are no longer a thought!
Something that I remember from our postpartum journey with our first born was that we were severely under prepared. We had Carter in February in Idaho, that means that it's cold.. very cold. It's windy, often snowing, and feels like winter at it's harshest. We had taken loads of information in about car seat safety and had never stopped to think about how we could safely protect him from the elements, even if the trip from the house to the car was a short one. We were stuck then throwing blankets over his car seat and often coming too close to slipping our grip on the handle. Then to top it all off we couldn't even see him while he was covered by the blanket that was there to keep him warm. Essentially.. it was a disaster.
This time around I was well aware that giving birth to a November baby meant that a car seat cover was not only a necessity but a life saver and that is when we were introduced to Boho Cheeks! I have never in my life seen a cover that allows you to have full grip of the seat, remains thick enough to fill a purpose and can be moved whenever you see fit! You can tell the true genius of this product because it was made by mothers, for mothers. These three New-York based moms know the struggle and came together to create something that they know has value!
If you would like to see all that Boho Cheeks has to offer click HERE. The cover that is presented in the photos is the the Milk Thief print. We couldn't be more excited to get our little bean here with us earth side and put this car seat and cover to good use.
